This programme is suitable for all Trainers / Trainers in waiting.
- Participants will start with learning the difference between training and development.
- We define “competencies” and their application in the area of Training and Development.
- We explore the effectiveness and the measurement of training. We move through the training process beginning with the assessment of training needs, move into the area of design, the different methods of training, planning and delivery.
- We explore the motivation to learn, learning styles, the Kolb learning cycle.
The programme can either be condensed into a one day programme or can be expanded into a two day programme delivered in one full day and two follow up half days with important practice in between. This is a very practical programme with practical sessions at each stage.
